Salary & Conditions
- The position is classified as an Early Childhood Educator and will attract a salary in the range of $28.43 to $31.84 per hour (Grade 6 in Council’s salary system), plus 11% superannuation.
- Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
- Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Pre-employment Functional Assessment and Drug & Alcohol screening.
- Documentation demonstrating full COVID-19 vaccination is required.

Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. A willingness to work toward a Diploma would be seen as favourable (if not already held).
- A current Working with Children Check is essential.
- Genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being and development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate engaging and age-appropriate learning activities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for children's growth and development.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to ensure the well-being of each child.
- Implement and uphold the centre’s policies and procedures.
