Leeton Early Learning Centre

The Leeton Early Learning Centre is owned and operated by Leeton Shire Council. It provides a quality, age appropriate Early Childhood Education in a safe and supportive indoor and outdoor environment, which is responsive to the needs of each child and their family in our community.

This Centre provides education and care for 88 children per day, five days per week, 50 weeks of the year and operating from 7.45am to 5.45pm each weekday. There is a full-time cook providing all children with nutritionally balanced meals including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. The Centre meets all educator to child ratio requirements.

There are five classrooms within the Centre:

  1. Nursery Room 1: caters for eight children aged 6 weeks to 24 months, and has two staff.
  2. Nursery Room 2: caters for fifteen children aged 12 months to 24 months, and has four staff.
  3. Toddler Room: caters for 25 children aged 2 to 3 years, and has five staff.
  4. Preschool Room 1: caters for 20 children aged 3 to 4 years, and has two staff.
  5. Preschool Room 2: caters for 20 children aged 4 to 6 years, and has two staff.  

The Centre has additional floater educators who cover educators off the floor as well as Inclusion Support educators working throughout the week caring and educating children with additional needs.
