21st Annual Riggs Cup – Community Skate Workshop & Skate Jam

Come get involved and celebrate the 21st Annual Riggs Cup for Youth Week 2024.

FREE Learn to Skate & Mentoring Sessions followed by a Skate, Scooter & BMX jam for the cup.

EVENT SCHEDULE

10.00am: Event Opening

10.00am - 10.15am: Beginner class registration - this workshop is for 6 years and over

10.15am - 11.15am: Beginner skate class - 1 hour class. Suitable for newcomer and beginner skaters with little to no experience on a board and at a skatepark

11.15am - 11.20am: Skate Demo

11.20am - 11.35am: Mentoring session registration for intermediate skaters

11.35am - 12.20pm: Mentoring session for intermediate skaters - 45 min class. Suitable for skaters who know the foundational skills and want to start exploring tricks and advance to the next level.

12.20pm - 12.30pm: JAM Registration - 5 years and over

12.30pm - 12.40pm: Skate, Scooter & BMX jam grouping - 5 years and over

12.40am - 1.00pm: Open - Scooter

1.00pm - 1.10pm: Open - BMX grouping

1.10pm - 1.25pm: Open - BMX

1.25pm - 1.35pm: Opens Jam - Skate grouping

1.35pm - 1.50pm: Opens Jam - Skate

1.50pm - 2.00pm: Community Interaction / close program and hand out stickers.

^Times may vary on the day

^^Time slots for your age group within each category will be announced on the day so make sure you arrive at 10.00am.
