You're not too late for Vance Estate!
Leeton Shire Council is urging the local business community to take advantage of a concessional offer, aimed at stimulating land sales and industrial activity in the Vance Estate. This concessional offer involves incentives to purchasers and developers of any allotments within the Vance Industrial Estate stage II.
There are currently nine vacant blocks for sale and 13 blocks that have been reserved. The 13 reserved blocks will need to be paid for by June 30 or they will be put back on the open market.
Council will allow payment terms for blocks purchased from Council, over a five year period subject to some conditions.
Council will offer a “rate holiday” exempting developers from paying general rates for a maximum of one-year, on allotments purchased from Council in the Vance Industrial Estate Stage II. Development application fees and construction certificate fees will also be subject to a 50 per cent refund (with the exception of the Long Service Levy and Planning and Assessment Regulation charges) for any development application that is lodged within six months of the settlement, and which work commences within 6 months of lodging the development application and construction certificate, and if the construction is complete and the building is occupied within 12 months.
The development application fee concessional offer will extend to those who already own allotments and commence their construction process by 31 December 2009.
For full terms and conditions regarding these offers, please contact Council’s Economic Development section on (02) 6953 2611.
