Level 1 Water Restrictions will be enforced in the Leeton Shire from 9th October, 2009.
Level one water restrictions permit watering of gardens and lawns with handheld hoses at any time, preferably in the morning and evening. The use of fixed sprinklers and sprays for lawns and gardens is permitted between the hours of 5.00pm and 9.00am. Additionally, water must not be used to wash paved or concreted areas at any time unless it is necessary to do so in case of an accident, fire or other emergency. A fountain or pond that does not recycle water must not be operated. Further information can be obtained by contacting Council on 69532611.
