Leeton Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Tourism and Events Officer to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.
This exciting role supports the Marketing & Promotions Coordinator and the broader tourism and events team to deliver effective, engaging, and well-managed tourism promotions and events across Leeton Shire. You'll play a key role in showcasing our region, supporting community groups, and delivering memorable experiences for both locals and visitors.
Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal skills with the general public and fellow employees, well-developed written and oral communication skills, and the ability to use a range of computer-based systems.
Salary and Conditions
- A salary of $1,258.70 to $1,409.90 per week plus 11.5% superannuation will be offered, depending on qualifications and experience.
- This permanent full-time position is 35 hours per week and includes a monthly rostered day off.
- Employment conditions are in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
- Prior to commencement, the successful applicant will be required to undergo a Pre-Employment Functional Assessment, which includes an Alcohol and Other Drug Screening.
