Council awarded a Youth Development Grant of $250 to Wesley Wate to assist him with the costs of attending the Murrumbidgee Under 13s Cricket NSW Youth Championships in Dubbo, NSW, from 18 - 21 December 2023.
Having played cricket for the Leeton representative team as well as trialling for the Southern Murrumbidgee team, Wesley now has a chance to prove himself, along with his teammates, at the Youth Champs in Dubbo. Council wishes Wesley all the best and looks forward to receiving a report about his experience.
The ‘Youth Development’ Grant Category is offered at a set amount of $250 per applicant and is available to support high achievement in a cultural, academic, or sporting activity that requires attendance at a State, National or International level event.
