Council is in receipt of a Development Application for the closure of a portion of Maher Road subdividing it into a new lot to sell to adjoining neighbour.
The Development Application and relevant documentation will be on exhibition from 19 March 2024 until 15 April 2024 and can be viewed at the Leeton Shire Council offices at 23-25 Chelmsford Place, Leeton. The Development Application and submitted accompanying documents will also be available to be viewed on Council’s website at https://www.leeton.nsw.gov.au (see right-hand side under 'Relevant Information').
Any person during the submission period may make a written submission to Council concerning the Development Application. If the submission is an objection, the grounds of objection must be specified. Any person who makes a submission by way of objection and who is dissatisfied with the determination of Leeton Shire Council to grant development consent may appeal to the Land and Environment Court.
Please note that if the Independent Assessment Commission conducts a public hearing, the Commissioner’s determination of the application is final and not subject to appeal.
