Council procedures and guidelines for Tenders and Expressions of Interest

Council now uses a free procurement platform called VendorPanel.  To register with this online tendering system, please Click here.

Council has adopted the guidelines and principles set out in the Tendering Guidelines for NSW Local Government issued by the Department of Local Government to assist Council to apply clear policies and consistent procedures throughout the tendering process.

Leeton Shire Council advertises all open Tenders and Expressions of Interest (EOI) on Council's website and where required through the 'Council News' feature that appears in local newspaper The Irrigator on a weekly basis.

Further information regarding the advertised tender should be forwarded to the contact person nominated in the Council advertisement.

Council's tender process is in accordance with the Local Government Act 1993 and the Local Government (General) Regulation 2021.

Note: Tender applicants are reminded that canvassing or lobbying of Councillors or Council staff, other than the contact person in relation to any aspect of the tender will automatically disqualify the Tenderer from the tender process.
