Pay My Rates

Your rates can be paid annually, with the total amount due on 31 August each year, or by quarterly instalment. Rate notices are sent by post, or residents can register to receive eNotices for their rate notices to be delivered by email.

Visit us

Bring your rates notice and pay by cash, cheque, EFTPOS or credit card at our Council office, 23-25 Chelmsford Place, Leeton, between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday.

Australia Post

Pay your rates at any Australia Post Office or Agency. Remember to bring your rates notice with you.

 

Mail

Make your cheque or money order payable to Leeton Shire Council, crossed 'Not Negotiable' and send with notice to 23-25 Chelmsford Place, Leeton NSW 2705.

Quarterly instalments

Rates may be paid by quarterly instalments. Instalment dates each year are 31 August, 30 November, 28 February and 31 May.

If you don't pay your rates on or before the due date, daily interest charges will accrue immediately on that instalment. Instalment reminder notices will be sent to those ratepayers who choose to pay by instalment.
