Residents of Leeton Shire are encouraged to share their experiences of access to local health services through a health services survey conducted by Rural Doctors Network.
Key strategic documents that outline Council’s commitment to maintaining and building a strong, vibrant and sustainable future for the Leeton Shire community are now on public exhibition following endorsement by Council at its first Ordinary meeting in May.

Ruby and Jack Miller were awarded a Youth Development Grant of $250 each to assist them with the costs of attending sporting competitions in the USA and Sydney.
Ruby will be attending the Deaf Football (Soccer) Australia International Event in Denver, Colorado, from 26 May – 2 June 2024. Ruby has been selected to represent Australia as a member of the Deaf Football Australia Women’s Squad – a huge achievement.
Jack will compete in the NSW CHS State Swimming Championships in Sydney from 13 - 15 May 2024. Across three days, Jack will be participating in eight events, including the multi-class section as well as a mainstream relay.
Council wishes Ruby and Jack all the best with their respective competitions and looks forward to receiving a report about their experiences.
The ‘Youth Development’ Grant Category is offered at a set amount of $250 per applicant and is available to support high achievement in a cultural, academic, or sporting activity that requires attendance at a State, National or International level event.
