On the Move at LMAG

On the Move, a new family-friendly exhibition exploring all forms of transport, is now open at the Leeton Museum and Art Gallery.

Created by Sydney Living Museums in collaboration with illustrator James Gulliver Hancock, On the Move takes visitors on a journey around Australia, discovering fascinating facts about different modes of transport and vehicles along the way.

Designed especially for children and families, On the Move is a highly engaging exhibition that offers a hands-on discovery of incredible journeys, unique inventions, amazing vehicles and intrepid explorers across the country.

“On the Move is the next in a series of family-friendly exhibitions following on from the hugely popular, How Cities Work exhibited at the Leeton Museum and Art Gallery last Christmas,” said Museum, Gallery & Heritage Officer Karen Barrett.

“Between crafting your best paper plane and building a LEGO® vehicle to test on the city tracks, there are plenty of activities for families to explore.”

The NSW Government proudly sponsors the exhibition under the Reconnecting Regional NSW Community Events Program. This funding enables Leeton Shire Council and organisations to enhance different community events across the

Shire over the next seven months.
