Residents of Leeton Shire are encouraged to share their experiences of access to local health services through a health services survey conducted by Rural Doctors Network.
Key strategic documents that outline Council’s commitment to maintaining and building a strong, vibrant and sustainable future for the Leeton Shire community are now on public exhibition following endorsement by Council at its first Ordinary meeting in May.

Leeton Shire Council is pleased to announce the opening of the Local Heritage Fund for the 2024/25 financial year. This fund is designed to assist owners and lessees of significant land or heritage buildings with financial support for heritage projects.
Funding is available for a variety of work projects, including:
Chairman of the Leeton Shire Heritage Committee, Cr George Weston, emphasised the importance of preserving our heritage assets. "Our heritage buildings are vital to the cultural and historical fabric of Leeton Shire. By preserving these structures, we not only honour our past but also enhance the character and charm of our towns and villages for years to come," he said.
Projects will be assessed based on the following selection criteria:
