Residents of Leeton Shire are encouraged to share their experiences of access to local health services through a health services survey conducted by Rural Doctors Network.
Key strategic documents that outline Council’s commitment to maintaining and building a strong, vibrant and sustainable future for the Leeton Shire community are now on public exhibition following endorsement by Council at its first Ordinary meeting in May.

Leeton Shire Council is proud to announce that Multicultural Advisor Ken Dachi was presented with a Community Recognition Statement by Member for Murray, Helen Dalton MP.
Ken is a cherished staff member of Council who joined the organisation in 2019. Having moved to Leeton from the UK with extensive experience in international aid relief, Ken now dedicates his time helping new migrants find their way in Australia and settle in Leeton.
Recently, Ken was invited to speak at the Welcoming Australia symposium in Melbourne, where he was awarded the inaugural Welcoming Cities award in recognition of his incredible efforts.
“Through advocacy and sharing of stories, Ken has been able to attract workers to key businesses which has resulted in tremendous economic benefits for the Shire,” said Executive Manager Economic & Community Development Michelle Evans.
“His tireless efforts ensure Leeton continues to be a safe, welcoming and inclusive multicultural town. We are so grateful for his hard work and care for our community members,” she said.
