Council awarded a Youth Development Grant of $250 to Ava Weymouth to assist her with the costs of attending the NSW Primary School Football Championships to be held in Ballina from 26–28 August 2025.
Ava earned her place in the Riverina Under-12 Girls Football Team after a highly competitive trial in Albury, where she was selected from a field of over 50 talented young players.

Ava will represent the Riverina region during the week-long event, proudly showcasing the talent emerging from our local community.
Council wishes Ava all the best and looks forward to receiving a report about her experience.
