2024/25 Youth Development Grant Awarded to Lucy Gilmour

Council awarded a Youth Development Grant of $250 to Lucy Gilmour to assist her with the costs of attending the NSW Junior State Athletics championships from 13 - 16 March 2025. 

After successfully qualifying for the state athletics championships last weekend, Lucy is now Sydney-bound to compete in the athletics events 800m, long jump and javelin throw (in the category 15’s multi-categorical). The event will be held at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre. Council wishes Lucy all the best and looks forward to receiving a report about her experience.

The ‘Youth Development’ Grant Category is offered at a set amount of $250 per applicant and is available to support high achievement in a cultural, academic, or sporting activity that requires attendance at a State, National or International level event.
