2023/24 Youth Development Grants Awarded

Council has recently awarded six applications for funding totalling $1,500 under the 2023/24 Council Community Grants Program.

The ‘Youth Development’ Grant Category is offered at a set amount of $250 per applicant and is available to support high achievement in a cultural, academic, or sporting activity that requires attendance at a State, National or International level event.

Recipient Grant
Vula Wate $250 Youth Development Grant to assist with the costs of attending the 2023 NSWCCC State Selection Trials for rugby league.
Kian Henman $250 Youth Development Grant to assist with the costs of attending the 2023 NSWCHS Swimming & Diving State Championships. He will be representing 15-yr boys in the 4 x 50m freestyle relay.
Cadell Thompson $250 Youth Development Grant to assist with the costs of attending the 2023 NSWPSSA Swimming State Championships. He will be representing Riverina boys junior relay 4 x 50m.
Callum Dunn $250 Youth Development Grant to assist with the costs of attending the Southern States Rugby Championships.
Josh Madden $250 Youth Development Grant to assist with the costs of attending the Southern States Rugby Championships.
Deegan Tiffin $250 Youth Development Grant to assist with the costs of attending the 2023 NSWPSSA Boys Open Rugby League State Championships.

Council wishes the recipients all the best in their respective competitions and looks forward to receiving a report from each recipient about their experience.
