Residents of Leeton Shire are encouraged to share their experiences of access to local health services through a health services survey conducted by Rural Doctors Network.
Key strategic documents that outline Council’s commitment to maintaining and building a strong, vibrant and sustainable future for the Leeton Shire community are now on public exhibition following endorsement by Council at its first Ordinary meeting in May.

Council awarded an application for funding totalling $250 to Jaxon Steele under the 2023/24 Council Community Strengthening Grants Scheme (in the ‘Youth Development’ category).
The grant has been awarded to Jaxon to assist with the costs of attending the Under 15’s Schoolboys National Championships (AFL). He will be representing NSW at a week-long carnival to be held in Ballarat from 22 - 29 July.
The ‘Youth Development’ Grant Category is offered at a set amount of $250 per applicant and is available to support high achievement in a cultural, academic, or sporting activity that requires attendance at a State, National or International level event.
Council wishes Jaxon all the best and looks forward to receiving a report about his experience.
