Director Corporate/CFO

Avtar (Avi) Singh commenced at Council in February 2024 as Director Corporate / Chief Financial Officer. 

With over two decades of professional experience in financial management, corporate services and procurement, Avtar brings a wealth of expertise to his new position. He has held senior management roles across various sectors including local government, not-for-profit, and commercial organisations in Northern Territory, Victoria, New South Wales, and North America.

Avtar holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Business Administration, and is a proud member of CPA Australia.

Avtar says he is pleased to join Leeton Shire Council and is enthusiastically looking forward to utilising his experience to contribute to the financial sustainability of Council as well as prosperity and growth of the region.
