Terms and Conditions

• The organisation/sporting club must present to Council evidence of a current public liability policy with a minimum cover of $20 million (please provide Council with an electronic copy or photocopy).
• Sporting bodies are to make all pre-practice and pre-game inspections and decisions on the ground's suitability for use.
• Any unsafe facilities/grounds should not be used and reported to Council immediately.
• No unauthorised vehicles are to be driven onto the grassed surface.
• All wheelie bins used for events must be emptied into the McMahon skip bin and put back next to the hill storage shed area after each use.
• Grounds and amenity blocks are to be left in a clean and tidy condition. Failure to leave the oval complex areas used in a clean and tidy manner may result in cleaning hire charges.
• Grounds are not to be used if wet when it is considered that undue damage could be caused to the playing surface.
• Council reserves the right to cancel facility usage if weather conditions or unsatisfactory usage warrants.
• Council's decision will be final on the allocation of facilities.
• Council does not undertake any line marking of playing fields. Please arrange for line marking via respective sporting clubs.
• Booking forms must be completed and sent to Council 48 hours prior for casual bookings and 2 weeks prior for organised large-scale events.
• Tentative bookings must be confirmed a minimum of 2 weeks' prior to event scheduling.
• Bookings will not take effect until a confirmation email or message is received.
• Changes to any specifics to bookings must be communicated with the Recreation Facilities and Program Coordinator ASAP.
