Leeton Shire Council is planning a new dog park to replace the existing facility on Brobenah Road, which will make way for a future housing development. Following two targeted consultation sessions with users of the current dog park on Brobenah Road, four possible locations have been shortlisted. Community feedback is now sought to help identify the preferred site.
Mountford Park in Leeton's centre features beautiful trees and gardens, a large playground, a bird aviary and barbeque facilities. The iconic park contains a civic stage and is often used for gatherings and community events. The playground features a double 'Sky Rider' cable ride, 'Mammoth Swing' and 'Giant Tower'.
