Leeton Shire Council has received a development application for the installation of a 5.83 MW Solar Farm, comprising a 9,558 panel photovoltaic array, and an 11 MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and associated electrical infrastructure, at Lot 4 DP 855942, MacKellar Road, Cudgel. The solar farm is to occupy a fenced area comprising approximately 11 hectares of the site.

- All submissions must be in writing and directed to the Leeton Shire Council General Manager and received on or before Monday, 30 March 2026.
- Clearly state the reasons or grounds for your support or objection to the proposal. Only include information that is directly relevant to the development proposal.
- Please quote the Development Application No. as listed above.
- Each submission must relate to one Development Application only. If you wish to comment on multiple submissions, you must make individual submissions.
Making a submission is entirely voluntary and you are under no obligation to provide us with any of your personal information. However, if you do not wish to have your personal information published in development assessment reports please specify this in your submission.
If you are lodging submissions you must also declare any reportable political donations or gifts, if any, in accordance with section 147 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. The following must be disclosed:
- All reportable political donations made to any local councillor of Leeton Shire Council,
- All gifts made to any local councillor or employee of Leeton Shire Council.
Council publishes all such disclosures on its website.
