Leeton Shire Council has received a development application for a 5 MW Electricity Generating Works Facility + 10 MWh Battery Energy Storage at Lot 109, DP 751703, Briggs Road, Stanbridge.
Development Application and supporting documents have been submitted via the NSW Planning Portal and accepted by Leeton Shire Council. The application has been deemed Regionally Significant Development (Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (NSW)) and referred to the Western Regional Planning Panel for determination.
The application and related documents are on public exhibition from Saturday 31 January 2026 to Saturday 28 February 2026.
These documents can be viewed on the NSW Planning Portal, Council’s website (see right-hand side under 'Related Information') and are on display at the Leeton Shire Council office, Leeton Shire Library, Yanco Post Office, Whitton Post Office and Murrami Post Office.
Any person may make a written submission during the exhibition period to the General Manager, Leeton Shire Council, detailing grounds for objection or support.
Submissions should reference DA 134/2025 and be made by email to council@leeton.nsw.gov.au or by mail addressed to Leeton Shire Council, 23-25 Chelmsford Place, Leeton NSW 2705.
