The Leeton Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2014 is a legal document that guides planning decisions for the Leeton Local Government area.
This is done through land zoning and development controls that allows Council to manage the ways in which land is used.
The LEP 2014 is the primary planning tool that is used to shape the future of Leeton Shire communities. Leeton’s LEP can be viewed on the NSW Legislation website. LEP 2014 consists of both a written document and supporting maps.
These documents can also be viewed or are available for purchase at the Customer Service Counter of the Leeton Shire Council Chambers located at 23-25 Chelmsford Place Leeton between 8:30am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
Should you have any queries with regard to Local Environmental Plans, please contact Council's Building, Planning and Health team on (02) 6953 0911.
