The Leeton Early Learning Centre is owned and operated by Leeton Shire Council. It provides a quality, age appropriate Early Childhood Education in a safe and supportive indoor and outdoor environment, which is responsive to the needs of each child and their family in our community.
This Centre provides Education and care for 68 children per day, 5 days per week, 50 weeks of the year and operating from 7.45am to 5.45pm each weekday. There are 2 cooks who share the week providing all children with nutritionally balanced meals including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. The Centre has 3 Early Childhood Degree qualified teachers. The other educators are Diploma and Certificate III trained. All educators and staff are appropriately qualified having either a Certificate III or Diploma. The Centre meets all educator to child ratio requirements.
There are 4 classrooms within the Centre including:
Caters for 8 children aged 0 - 2 years. The Nursery has 2 staff.
Caters for 15 children aged 2 - 3 years. The Toddler Room has 3 staff.
Caters for 25 children aged 2.5 - 4 years. Preschool Room 1 has 3 staff.
Caters for 20 children aged 3.5 – 6 years. Preschool Room 2 has 2 staff.
The Centre has additional floater educators who cover educators off the floor as well as Inclusion Support educators working throughout the week caring and educating children with additional needs.

Catering for primary school aged children this service provides education and care during after school hours from 3.10 to 6pm on school days. Located in the grounds of the Parkview Public School with bus drop offs from all schools available to the Centre.
LOOSC also offers a Vacation Care service during school holidays from 8am to 6pm providing a range of fun activities and excursions to school aged children to keep them busy during the holidays.

The Leeton Youth Committee are an engaged group of young people who plan, coordinate and implement youth events and activities throughout the Shire.
