These grants are offered twice per year to provide funding support to community groups and organisations in their endeavours to establish, strengthen and/or implement projects which will benefit the Leeton Shire Community. The timeline for these grants are as follows:

Applicants notified of outcome: 25 November 2021
Applications open: 1 March 2022
Applications close: 30 April 2022

Quick Response Grants are capped at a maximum of $2000. These grants are provided for the purpose of supporting activities that arise unexpectedly, with limited notice, outside the window of the twice yearly Community Grants Scheme.

Youth Development Grants are offered at a set amount of $250 and are available to support high achievement in a cultural, academic or sporting activity that requires attendance at a State, National or International level event.
It is essential to discuss your proposed application with Council staff in advance of submitting your application. This will increase your opportunity for success.
Please note that grant applications must be lodged to Council three weeks prior to a Council Meeting in order to be considered. *Events/activities must occur after the meeting date.
