Leeton Shire Council is offering young adults in the community the opportunity to receive Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training at a discounted price.
Mrs. Puntoriero says “This opportunity allows young people the chance to gain their RSA Certificate when they might not have been able to otherwise. Completion of the course can open up employment opportunities and in addition participants will learn about the dangers and consequences of drink driving.”
The aim of the RSA training is to educate young adults about:
The course is available for those aged between 17-25 years of age. Young people aged between 17-18 years old are able to complete the course and receive their certificates but are not able to be employed in a licensed premises until you are of 18 years of age.
Council are offering the course at the discounted price of $45 instead of the normal course fee of $145.
The course is on Monday the 18th of June from 4.30pm to10.30pm in Leeton at the Multipurpose Centre (old CWA Building).
