With Council's exciting CBD upgrade well underway to revitalise Leeton's centre, residents, businesses and the general public are advised that Wade Ave (between Kurrajong Ave and Jarrah St) will be closed to all traffic from 4 July to 20 July 2020.
Access from Wade Ave to Jarrah St will be closed. All traffic will be required to access Jarrah St via Reservoir Lane. Additional disabled parking will be available at the Wade Ave end of Jarrah St – please follow all traffic management signage and adhere to any instructions provide by Boots Construction Traffic management personnel.
Parking will continue to be available in Jarrah St, around Mountford Park and adjacent to the Leeton Court House (within the vacant lot) on the corner of Church and Oak Streets.
In order to further support property owners/tenants, please also be aware that during this closure period Roxy Lane will be open to TWO WAY traffic.
Pedestrian access along both sides of Wade Ave will remain in place during the closure period, allowing normal access to all businesses and shopfronts.
