Monthly meeting schedule from April 2018 to March 2019

Leeton Shire Council adopted its monthly meeting dates from April 2018 to March 2019 at its January Ordinary Council meeting.

Director Corporate and Community Craig Bennett stated in his report to Council that Section 365 of the Local Government Act 1993 requires Council to meet at least ten (10) times per year, each time in a different month.

“In the past, Council has held its Ordinary Council meetings at 7pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month, with some variations to avoid school holidays taken into account where possible.”

Council resolved the following meeting schedule from 1 April 2018 until 31 March 2019 with meetings to commence at 7pm in the Leeton Shire Council Chambers:

• Wednesday 18 April 2018 (brought forward a week due to Anzac Day)

• Wednesday 23 May 2018

• Wednesday 27 June 2018

• Wednesday 25 July 2018

• Wednesday 22 August 2018

•  Wednesday 26 September 2018

• Wednesday 24 October 2018

• Wednesday 28 November 2018

• Wednesday 19 December 2018

• Wednesday 23 January 2019

• Wednesday 27 February 2019 and;

• Wednesday 27 March 2019
