Proposal: Modification of development approval DA 73-2017 (Freight Transport Facility – Railway).

The proposed modification seeks to adopt Staging Plans and to amend a number of conditions. Enabling the staged delivery of the proposed development with Staging Plans will provide a more coordinated sequencing for construction of the intermodal rail freight terminal that can evolve with demand and operational requirements.

Modification to the respective conditions are to update, clarify and or correct the development consent to meet the needs for the intended development.

The application and documentation can be inspected at Leeton Shire Council offices at 23-25 Chelmsford Place Leeton during normal business hours from 4 February 2020 until 3 March 2020.

Any person during the submission period may make a written submission to the Council concerning the development application. If the submission is an objection the grounds of the objection must be specified. Any person who makes a submission by way of objection and who is dissatisfied with the determination of the Council to grant development consent may appeal to the Land and Environment Court.

Please note that if the Planning Assessment Commission conducts a review, the minister’s determination of the application is final and is not subject to appeal.
