Marketing and Cultural Services Coordinator to represent Council on Western Riverina Arts Board

Leeton Shire Council endorsed its Marketing and Cultural Services Coordinator Suesann Vos as the new Council representative on the Western Riverina Arts Board.

Western Riverina Arts is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting the development and promotion of the arts in Griffith, Leeton and Narrandera. Western Riverina Arts ensures the vitality and sustainability of the community’s diverse and rich culture by developing audiences, encouraging community capacity, developing pathways for artists and encouraging cultural / artistic events.

On 27 April 2018 Leeton Shire Council received an invitation from Western Riverina Arts to nominate a new Council representative to their Board following the departure of the previous Council representative, Ms Penny Davies (former Manager Library, Culture and Community).

Mrs Vos brings to the Board a wealth of experience in the arts and cultural tourism development space holding previous roles as the Sponsorship and Marketing Manager for Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology for 14 years, Ordinary Member of the Museum Galleries Australia National Council for 2 years as well as owning her own marketing consultancy business for the past 6 years.
