Proposal: Council is currently assessing a Development Application for the construction of a 656ML water storage dam at Lot 81 DP 46268, 275 Bridge Road, Murrami. 

The proposed development is integrated development which requires approval from the NSW Water under Water Management Act 2000. 

The application and relevant documentation can be inspected at Leeton Shire Council offices at 23-25 Chelmsford Place Leeton during normal business hours from 15 September 2020 until the 13 October 2020.  

Any person during the submission period may make a written submission to Council concerning the development application. If the submission is an objection the grounds of objection must be specified. Any person who makes a submission by way of objection and who is dissatisfied with the determination of the Council to grant development consent, may appeal to the Land and Environment Court. 

Please note that if the Planning Assessment Commission conducts a review, the Minister’s determination of the application is final and not subject to appeal.
