Council to reschedule October Ordinary Council Meeting

Leeton Shire Council endorsed a date change to the October Ordinary Council Meeting at its August Ordinary Council Meeting.

The October meeting has been rescheduled from Wednesday 23 October to now be held on Monday 28 October to facilitate the attendance of Council’s Mayor, Deputy Mayor and General Manager to attend the Murray Darling Association (MDA) Annual Conference from Tuesday 22 October until Thursday 24 October 2019 which is being held in Toowoomba, Queensland.

As the Chair of MDA Region 9, Mayor Paul Maytom’s attendance is required at this event as a leading advocate for water in Leeton and the Western Riverina region.
