Councillor Tony Reneker sits on the following Committees of Council:

Tony Reneker is a first term Councillor of Leeton Shire Council.
Cr Reneker and his family moved to Leeton in 2001. A member of the NSW Police Force since 1982, Tony has worked as a General Duties Officer at a number of country locations. He has held a managerial position since 1997 and has been attached to the Griffith Local Area Command of which Leeton is a part of since 2006.
In his opinion, the wonderful facilities including our schools, sporting clubs, places to eat and drink and of course the people, make Leeton a great place to live.
An experienced problem solver and decision maker through his line of work and community involvement, Cr Reneker has been previously successful in engaging the community and as a result creating local solutions to local problems. He believes these attributes are transferrable and integral to the role of being a councillor.
He has been involved in several community groups and organisations. He is currently on the committee for the Leeton Sportsperson of the Year, the St Joseph’s Parish Council, the Leeton & District Men’s Bowling Club, Southern Inland Rugby Referees Association and does a little volunteering at St Vincent De Paul. He was also previously on the St Francis College School Board and was a past President of the Leeton Junior Phantom’s Rugby Club and the Leeton & District Men’s Bowling Club.
