About Mayor Cr Tony Reneker

Tony Reneker is a second term Councillor of Leeton Shire Council.

Mayor Cr Reneker and his family moved to Leeton in 2000.  He joined the NSW Police Force in 1982 and worked in various locations across the State performing General Duties and retired in 2017 at the rank of Chief Inspector. In that same year he was awarded the Australian Police Medal.

In his opinion, the wonderful facilities including our schools, sporting clubs, places to eat and drink and of course the people, make Leeton a great place to live.

An experienced problem solver and decision maker through his previous line of work and community involvement, Mayor Cr Reneker has been successful in engaging the community and as a result creating local solutions to local problems. He believes these attributes are integral to the role of being a successful Councillor.
