Rate notices are usually issued to ratepayers in July each year. Reminder notices for the second, third and fourth instalments will also be issued throughout the year.

Rates, charges and levies are payable by four instalments due on:

  • 31 August
  • 30 November
  • 28 February

Water Charges

Ratepayers are reminded that Council issues three water usage accounts during each financial year with the first being sent in September, the second in January and the final account in May.

Ratepayers need to also be aware that charges for water consumption are calculated on a cumulative basis over the three reads taken during the financial year. The charges for water consumption are detailed on the second page of your Water Usage Account notice.
