Developments that lead to an increase in the local population, visitation or traffic will usually be required to pay development contributions. These contributions are known as Section 94 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
Council will invest the funds collected from development contributions to upgrade infrastructure, services, recreation and community facilities, to support the growth of developed areas.
Council has 2 plans relating to development contributions.
Leeton Shire Council adopted the Leeton S94A Fixed Levy Plan on 27th April 2016.
The Plan applies to all development throughout Leeton Shire over $100,000.
