Leeton Shire Council is committed to road safety around Leeton Shire.
Council has a Road Safety Officer (RSO) who is responsible for promoting road safety awareness and contributing to improved road safety outcomes by developing and delivering behavioural education programs and influencing the construction of infrastructure to improve road user safety.
The RSO, NSW Police, RMS and Councils implement initiatives and workshops to improve road safety at a local level by promoting greater involvement and coordination with all road safety stakeholders.
If you have an issue you would like to raise with Council you can:
call and ask to discuss an issue with an engineering officer or;
lodge a customer request
Once any issues have been investigated and where changes or new works are recommended, matters are referred to the Local Area Traffic Committee for endorsement.
