Council has three departments in its structure:
- Corporate;
- Engineering and Technical Services; and
- Environmental and Community Services
Council's General Manager is John Batchelor. John is the senior staff officer who has overall responsibility for the implementation of Council Policy, Economic Development and Tourism.
Director Corporate Services is Duncan McWhirter and has responsibility for Finance, Administration, Information and Communications Technology and Human Resources.
Barry Heins is the Director of Engineering and Technical Services and has responsibility for Plant Management, Fire Services, Road related issues, Cemeteries, Water and Sewerage.
Garry Stoll, Director of Environmental and Community Services has responsibility for Animal Control, Town Planning, Health and Building, Garbage, Meals on Wheels, HACC Services, Parks, Gardens & Recreation and the Library.
