Leeton Shire Council, in conjunction with TAFE NSW Leeton, is currently offering organisations fully subsidised training to get the information and tools needed for a business to succeed online.
Council’s Project Coordinator Kate Weston said that there are 4 sessions in this training that will each run for 2 hours.
“The four sessions will focus on six key topics including establishing an online strategy, website development options, marketing online and E-commerce, social media, managing security and risk and cloud technology for business. By participating in at least one of the four sessions you are eligible to receive a one on one coaching session targeting your specific business needs.”
Mayor Paul Maytom added that it’s imperative for Council to capitalise on these funding opportunities that ultimately help business owners in our Shire to take the step towards operating more effectively in the ever evolving online space.
“Learning how to effectively use online business tools to monitor and analyse your online business presence is crucial for people in business today. For those that haven’t yet already creating an online presence for your organisation can offer a wealth of benefits including building a stronger customer base and generating additional revenue for your business.”
The workshop dates are as follows:
Afternoon workshops will take place from 3pm-5pm and evening workshops from 6pm to 8pm. All are held at the TAFE NSW Leeton campus located in Palm Avenue.
These sessions are funded by the Murray Darling Regional Economic Diversification Program. To register for one of the workshops, please click here or call TAFE NSW Leeton on (02) 6953 9600.
